American Aquarium

American Aquarium are a Raleigh, North Carolina-rooted rock-and-roll band led by songwriter BJ Barham. Over two decades, 20 records, and thousands of shows, the group has built its audience independently through relentless touring, fiercely personal songs, and a refusal to follow industry formulas. Their album New Ways to Lose turns that long survival story into a full-band statement of resilience, mixing emotional confessionals with big choruses, piano, brass, and guitars while addressing loss, maturity, connection, and the hard-won act of carrying on.
