OFFICIAL BIO
Bixby, Oklahoma–raised singer-songwriter Corey Kent makes country music with the scrappy drive of heartland rock. He began performing in a touring Western Swing band at 11, moved to Nashville at 17, and later sharpened his career through Oklahoma and Texas dancehalls, Nashville writing rooms, and a temporary return home to work paving in 2020. Kent’s 2023 debut Blacktop and follow-up Black Bandana built on the underdog momentum of the 3x-Platinum “Wild As Her” and Gold-certified “This Heart.” With over one billion career streams, his album Heartland Rock and Roll pushes his blend of country, rock, and soul further.
