OFFICIAL BIO
Lester Slade is a traveling songwriter based in Iqaluit, Nunavut, whose stripped-down sound is rooted in road-worn stories and an honest, direct approach to songwriting. Drawing from folk, Americana, alt-country, punk, and rock and roll, he creates intimate songs shaped by the landscapes, people, and experiences of life in the North and on the road. His albums include Burnt Out Lightning, Fireweed, and a later 11-track follow-up developed between touring and quiet Arctic stretches.
