OFFICIAL BIO
Sunny Sweeney is a Houston-born, East Texas-raised country artist known for smart honky-tonk songwriting, plainspoken emotional honesty, and a fiercely independent approach. Since her 2006 debut, Heartbreaker’s Hall of Fame, she has released five acclaimed albums and become a trusted curator and advocate through her SiriusXM shows. Her album Rhinestone Requiem pairs grown-up storytelling with traditional country forms and reflects the musical freedom she has built across two decades.
