OFFICIAL BIO
Alabama singer-songwriter Taylor Hunnicutt makes old-school Southern music for a modern audience. Drawing from Alabama’s traditions of country storytelling, rock ’n’ roll rebellion, and guitar-driven grit, she blends country, Americana, singer-songwriter sensibilities, and soulful Southern rock. An opera-trained vocalist, Hunnicutt began writing after leaving music school and working at a blues juke joint, where she started sitting in with visiting bands. Years of sustained touring shaped her full-length debut Alabama Sound, a road-tested love letter to the American South.
