OFFICIAL BIO
The Lowdown Drifters are a Fort Worth-based band with roots in California, Washington and Minnesota. Led by John Cannon’s poetic rasp, the group is known for road-tested “sad bastard songs” that pair heartbreak and honest lyrics with catchy, danceable melodies. After years of one-night stands and independent touring, they built a dedicated following at venues including Gruene Hall, Cain’s Ballroom and the Ryman Auditorium. Their debut album Last Call for Dreamers and songs such as “Fire in Her Eyes,” “Alright,” “If I Had A Dollar” and “Back to You” have earned more than 100 million combined streams.
