OFFICIAL BIO
The Red Clay Strays are a Mobile, Alabama band that blends Southern rock, country, soul and classic rock-and-roll. Founded by Brandon Coleman, Drew Nix, Zach Rishel, Andrew Bishop and John Hall, with keyboardist Sevans Henderson joining their touring lineup in 2024, the group developed its sound in Gulf Coast bars before breaking out nationally. Their self-released 2022 debut Moment of Truth produced the viral hit “Wondering Why” and earned the group Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards. The band later signed with RCA Records and released Made by These Moments, recorded with producer Dave Cobb, while expanding a celebrated live presence from festivals to sold-out Ryman Auditorium shows.
