Vincent Neil Emerson

Vincent Neil Emerson is an East Texas–raised folk and country songwriter known for candid songs about road life, heartbreak, personal history, and struggle. His 2019 debut Fried Chicken & Evil Women introduced his modern country voice, while his self-titled 2021 release looked more directly at loss and his Choctaw-Apache roots. On The Golden Crystal Kingdom, Emerson broadens his sound toward electric folk and rock while retaining the sharply observed storytelling that defines his work. His early experiences playing Texas honky-tonks, living in his car, and busking inform a catalog that is both personal and rooted in the working lives around him.
